“Novia Anggraeni is a lecturer and researcher in Food Technology at Universitas Nasional Karangturi, Semarang. She specializes in the circular bio-refinery of industrial waste, focusing on the synthesis of marine-derived nanocalcium for sophisticated Food-Based Drug Delivery Systems. Her innovation transforms fishery by-products into functional local staples, such as fortified Analog Rice, strategically engineered to manage Type 2 Diabetes and hypertension. Her work bridges the gap between sustainable waste valorization and clinical nutrition for global health.”
