PENGARUH KONSUMSI KURMA (PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN (HB) PADA IBU HAMIL

Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan ibu yang berisiko terhadap ibu dan janin. Kurma (Phoenix dactylifera) merupakan buah kaya zat besi, vitamin, dan antioksidan yang berpotensi digunakan sebagai intervensi alami untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin (Hb).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi kurma terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil dengan anemia.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest dengan kelompok perlakuan. Penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Carikan, Kabupaten Pati, melibatkan 30 ibu hamil trimester dua yang mengalami anemia ringan hingga sedang. Responden diberikan kurma sebanyak 100 gram per hari selama 14 hari berturut-turut. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon.
Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rerata kadar Hb dari 10,2 g/dL menjadi 11,1 g/dL setelah intervensi. Uji statistik menunjukkan peningkatan tersebut signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,05).
Konsumsi kurma secara rutin dapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil dengan anemia. Intervensi ini dapat menjadi alternatif alami dan mudah diimplementasikan dalam pendekatan gizi kebidanan berbasis pangan fungsional
